13 Beers in 13 Miles: Man Runs SF Half Marathon & Drinks Beer For Every Mile [wtf]

Okay, this story is so weird I had to classify it as WTF? So a blogger who writes about getting drunk while exercising decided to test his limits this past week and get completely hammered while running the San Francisco Half Marathon--that's 13.1 miles if you didn't know it. It seems ridiculous to even think of doing something this stupid but as we all know, there are all kinds of people out there.

He outlines his game plan on his blog:

So I bought three beers at a time, and poured each 12-ounce bottle or can into a 36-ounce water jug. Holding the jug while I run, I can keep that fucker pretty steady — far more so than water bottles strapped on to my belt.

I studied the course map in detail to plot each beer stop, which is critical because miles 5-10 are on the Golden Gate Bridge and its on-ramps. Christ fucking knows there’s no liquor stores on that bridge.

Before attempting this stupid feat, people told him there was no way he'd survive let alone finish. He proved them wrong, finishing in 5 hours but not before vomiting three times and blacking out during the eleventh and twelfth miles. As amazingly idiotic as this stunt was, I have to say that I'm impressed.

Okay Taylor, I thought I might give you the benefit of the doubt so I looked up 'fearless' in the Webster's Dictionary. You wanna know what I found? It says that fearless means exactly what every other English speaking person thinks it does; free from fear.

You know what terrified but still jumping is? It's called being scared shitless not fearless. It doesn't matter though because all your little fanboys/fangirls will buy this stuff no matter what the words say.

Now here's a guy that could actually give you a mustache ride. :P I'm not sure if this is a Civil War re-enactment guy or a police officer of some sort but the thing looks real. Jam Wow! Sham Wow Remix by Steve Porter [funny video]

Steve Porter, the man who brought you the Rap Chop Remix is back with another Vince Offer remix video called Jam Wow! Lol, these videos are so hilarious! As you might have guessed, this ones done with footage from the popular Sham Wow infomercial. There's a little twist though as it features footage from Soul Train and Carlton Banks from 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air'; aka Alfonso Ribeiro.

This video is funny and all but I'm thinking that Vince probably has no idea how much of an internet celebrity he's become, as I'm pretty sure he's in jail at the moment. Keep your head up Vince, we're all dancing for you!

5 Awesome 6teen Theme Song Covers

So I was surfing YouTube the other day and found a bunch of 6teen Theme song covers that I thought I'd share. For those of you don't know, 6teen is a popular animated show, which currently airs on the Nickelodeon Television Network. Take a look at my list of 6teen episodes if you wanna know more about the show.

The original theme song for the show was written and sung by a guy named Phil Naro so go check him out! You can also download the 6teen theme mp3 there as well. My friend Dan asked me if I knew where to find the guitar tabs for the song but I don't know (what are tabs anyway?) Evidently QBasic is a programming language(I didn't know so I had to look it up). I guess you can set it up to play the keyboard like you would a piano. Cool Stuff!

I like this one, well done with the acoustic guitar and she's so cute too. You go girl!

3. Electronic 6teen Theme Cover with Notessimo

Another computer themed cover. Notessimo is a website where you can compose your own music through your web browser. Very cool!

This one is more in the spirit of the original Phil Naro version but without vocals. Really nice, rockin', and smooth!

These guys call themselves 2Asians. I had to include a video with actual vocals so I chose this one. Plus its really cute!

Ashton Kutcher Beats CNN In Epic Twitter Race [stupid people]

Ashton Kutcher defeats CNN as I fall asleep

In what can only be called boring, Ashton Kutcher has beaten CNN in their epic Twitter showdown and has amassed one million mindless drones to follow him on Twitter (yay!). According to media outlets such as Chartbeat and the Huffington Post, Kutcher (Twitter user @aplusk passed the one million mark sometime in the early hours of April 17th...mark this day down in stupid history.

It all started on April 15th or so when Ashton Kutcher challenged CNN to this idiotic race and said he'd doorbell ditch Ted Turner's door if he won. Ding Dong Ashton. Too bad Mr. Turner doesn't have anything to do with the newsite anymore. There are some good things happening because of this though, Kutcher pledged to give $100,000 to the Malaria No More Fund if he won so good on him.

Of course the online community has made this out to be a war between the small guy and big media. Its these people that are probably following Ashton Kutcher. I mean seriously, after That 70's Show what has he done. Punk'd was alright but did you ever see Butterfly Effect? I say garbage and as they say one person's garbage is another person's Tweet. By the way, when you use Twitter you Tweet people. As in, oh I just brushed my teeth, I feel like I should Tweet about that. I've heard older types and such call it Twittering. I guess you can't blame the old folks or those out of the loop for such idiocy.

I actually envy people who don't know about these things. There are times when I wish I didn't know about Tweeting, Plurking, or Googling. Lol.

At any rate, now that Ashton Kutcher has defeated CNN in the race for a million followers, now what? Will Twittermania die down? Right now I'm not sure if Twitter is just a fad or is really in it for the long haul. I think it can be useful if you want news. I know, I know, its hard to decide if you'd rather hear breaking news or what Demi Moore and Ashton ate for breakfast but whatever.

Hmmm, I just checked and CNN has passed the million mark too but too little too late, Ashton Kutcher is the King of Twitter.
